Contemporary black morocco over wooden boards, richly gilt stamped, spine in seven compartments with raised bands, edges gauffered and with monogram "B S", covers richly gilt, front board with gilt heraldic supra-libros of the city of Danzig (Gdansk - Poland).
Title with old Polish ownership and stamp, original clasps removed. Overall an exceptionally well-preserved copy on firm laid paper with full margins and strong impressions. Ortelius
